Charging the collar

The GPS collar contains a Li-Pol battery. The device must be charged before first use.

1. Remove any dirt from the charging contacts. Attach the charging clip to the GPS collar (see image).
2. Connect the cable to a 5 V / 1 A power adapter (not included), then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
3. The 3 🔴 red LEDs on the GPS collar flash, after which one LED starts flashing 🔴 red (depending on the charge level).
4. As charging progresses, the 🟢 green LEDs light up one by one.
5. When charging is complete, all 3 green LEDs remain lit.

Warning

Charge the battery at an ambient temperature between 0 °C and 40 °C. Use a charging adapter with an output voltage of 4.5–5.3 V and a current of at least 1 A. If the power adapter is unsuitable or damaged, 3 red indicator lights on the collar will start flashing. Disconnect the adapter immediately and use a different one.

Checking the collar battery level

The battery level can be checked using the flashing indicator light on top of the GPS collar or the battery icon on the GPS controller display.
