Pairing of X40 collars has been redesigned for more reliable operation, including improved handling of nearby devices and environments with radio interference. After successful pairing, the handheld controller now automatically opens the device list.

A new sharing process has been added for X40 collars. Users can choose whether to share a collar for tracking only or also allow access to training functions.

A new vehicle mode has been added. The X40 handheld device can detect movement in a vehicle and adapt its behaviour and compass function accordingly.

A dedicated beeper settings screen has been added, allowing X40 collars to be configured directly from the handheld controller.

Audio can now be received from X40 collars. Each recording is 5 seconds long.

Geofences can now be configured and managed directly in X40 collars. When a collar leaves the defined area, it can automatically activate an alert and, if configured, an electrical stimulation pulse.

Supported X40 collars can now be switched off directly from the handheld controller.

X40 collars now support position update intervals of 3, 6, 9 and 60 seconds, as well as an automatic mode.

The hunting icon has been updated and status information is now displayed more clearly.

Average speed and total travelled distance calculations have been corrected to provide more accurate statistics.

Long device names are now wrapped or shortened with an ellipsis where necessary, improving readability on the main screens.

Alphabet selection now wraps smoothly from the last item back to the first and vice versa, making text entry faster and easier.

This version also includes fixes for collar deletion, light control, position updates via Bluetooth, barking settings, radio communication and general controller stability.

CloudRange has been added to extend coverage using other X40 handheld devices in the area. These devices can relay collar position data and help maintain tracking beyond the direct radio range of the user's own handheld device.

For all new features to work correctly, the X40 collar, X40 handheld device and mobile application must all be updated to their latest available versions.
